Special Health Care Needs

• According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, children with Special Health Care Needs are more likely to face barriers to care and have unmet dental needs, see more.
• To help us better understand your child and to prepare for dental visits at Bend Children’s Dentistry, we offer:
  • Pre-visit Questionnaire: to get to know your child and how to best serve them
  • Social Story: request an electronic copy of a Social Story of what to expect in our office
  • Office Tour: schedule a tour of the office with a staff guide
  • Desensitization Visits: short visits with Dr. Field and/or staff to acclimate your child to our office and to the dental office environment
