Our Philosophy

Our Practice Philosophy

Dentistry for children doesn’t have to be stressful! At Bend Children’s Dentistry, we understand that things that happen now (including home care, habits, and experiences in the dental office) set the stage for your child’s oral health and relationship with dentistry for life. We follow the evidence-based guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and we strive to become the best fit as a Dental Home for your family.

At Bend Children’s Dentistry We Believe:

  • Oral healthcare should be affirming, individualized, and accessible.
  • A child’s oral health is based on a collaboration between the child, their family, and the Dental Home.
  • Children’s oral health is about providing dental care that is tailored to each individual child and family, within the parameters set by the AAPD guidelines.
  • Children should have regular preventative care
  • Oral health contributes to the overall health, and we understand the importance of collaboration with your child’s health care team
  • If your child develops treatment needs, a care plan should be considered with the ultimate goal of positive dental experiences:
    • Management with modifications to diet, hygiene, Fluoride exposure
    • Minimally Invasive Dentistry Techniques

Our Affordable Care for Every Child

At Bend Children’s Dentistry, we strive to provide affordable and quality care for every child. We accept all insurances and OHP – please be aware that your insurance provider may not cover all procedures 100%. Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan which fits your timetable and budget, and gives your child the best possible care. We accept cash, personal checks, CareCredit, debit cards and most major credit cards.

Dental Insurance Policy

  • Prior to treatment we do require a copy of your insurance and ID. This includes any secondary insurance you wish to have billed.
  • Please let us know as soon as possible about any changes in your insurance coverage. This helps us give you accurate information about your benefits and potential cost for treatment.
  • We file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients.
  • We will file claims typically the same day or within 48 hours of the date of service.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim. We do our best to estimate cost to you and provide all necessary information that will be required by your insurance company to process the claim. But, your insurance company is the final determiner of benefits and coverage.
